Real Estate Billboard: DANIEL KIM

Graphic Design

Strategic Real Estate Billboard
This billboard, measuring 22ft x 10ft, was strategically designed for the high-traffic intersection of Yonge & Finch in Toronto. The primary objective was to deliver a clear, authoritative message in the "split second" it takes for a driver or pedestrian to pass by.

1. The "3-Second Rule" & Visual Impact
In an environment saturated with visual noise, this design prioritizes instant recognition.
High-Contrast Color Palette: The deep charcoal background provides a sophisticated, premium feel while making the Lime Green accents pop. This specific green was chosen to draw immediate attention to the phone number and key call-to-actions.
Bold Typography: Using a heavy Sans-serif font ensures that the text remains legible even from a distance or at high speeds, minimizing visual distortion for passing commuters.

2. Strategic Information Hierarchy
The layout follows a strict "Visual Chunking" method to guide the viewer’s eye:
The Hook (Slogan): "전략적 부동산 매매" (Strategic Real Estate Sales) establishes the niche immediately.
The Brand (Identity): DANIEL KIM is positioned as the anchor of the design, building name recognition.
The Validation (Social Proof): Including "TOP 1% IN CANADA" and "TOP 35 UNDER 35" provides instant credibility without cluttering the space.

3. Bridging Analog and Digital
QR Code Integration: Strategically placed on the bottom right, the large-scale QR code allows pedestrians and stopped vehicles to transition from the physical billboard to Daniel’s digital portfolio instantly.
Professional Persona: The high-resolution portrait is positioned to make eye contact with the audience, fostering a sense of trust and approachability—crucial elements in the real estate industry.

The essence of this project is "Efficiency through Minimalism." By stripping away unnecessary elements and focusing on a high-contrast, hierarchy-driven layout, the design ensures that even a fleeting glance leaves a lasting impression. It is a textbook example of high-efficiency communication design tailored for one of Toronto's busiest urban landscapes.
